The Sr. Store Operations Tech and Training Specialist is responsible for identifying training needs and performance gaps, then designing, developing, and maintaining effective operational and technical training programs. This role creates, edits, and updates curriculum and learning solutions to support store systems and processes, ensuring clear guidance and consistent execution across the Field and Home Office. Acting as an internal consultant, the specialist aligns training solutions to business needs and operational priorities.
- Develops training curriculum and training programs and/or recommends or utilizes vendor programs that meet the instructional goals and objectives.
- Supports the evolution, rollout, and adoption of digital platforms, programs, and tools used by field associates by partnering with various areas of the business to ensure tools are effective, and aligned to field business needs.
- Formulates training and program outlines and determines instructional and technical methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs.
- Selects or develops training materials and solutions, including new and/or existing guides, e-learnings, videos, and training programs.
- Coordinates and performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs.
- Leads the evaluation, design and development of processes, systems, or programs developed internally or by external vendors. Serves as an internal consultant and Store Operations representative.
- Partners with field teams and solicits representatives to be part of the project team when appropriate.
- Performs user testing/review to evaluate effectiveness and readiness.
- Organizes and facilitates ongoing meetings to discuss any issues that may occur during user testing/review. Partners with field teams to gather pilot feedback and update training and documentation to ensure a successful implementation.
- Determines training strategies and develops an implementation plan and schedule.
- Supports other departments with their initiatives by analyzing their content and training needs, and determining what training materials may be needed, e.g., procedures, videos, job aids, eLearning courses, communications, etc.
- Provides problem solving, procedural, and technical support to store associates, management, and field management for the all store systems.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to source materials to design, develop and manage interactive, compelling and engaging eLearning courses, training videos, and learning interactions.
- Monitor Associate behaviors and needs to establish how to make eLearning materials available and as appealing as possible by developing online training courses, videos, screen captures, infographics, and digital user guides. Maintain and continually expand knowledge of new digital learning approaches, technologies, and tools through ongoing research and experimentation.
Who We’re Looking for: You.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Training, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Communications, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of store management or operations experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Store Operations
- In-depth knowledge of Store Systems
- Knowledge of policies and procedures
- Strong project management, communication, and organization skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, must be able to deal with diverse personal styles, functions, and levels of responsibility
- Familiar with concepts of organizational planning, operational and strategy planning
- Experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) Adobe CC (Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop) Audio/Video recording and editing experience (Pro Tools, Premiere Pro)
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications: MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word required.
- Project management interest in experimenting with new and emergent learning technologies and collaboration tools

This position has a starting salary range of $76,800.00 to $97,900.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
