Role Purpose
An excellent opportunity to be part of Corning Incorporated's key technology organizations supporting the deployment of new, innovative, and challenging technologies. Members of the Capital Projects and Facilities engineering team are responsible for the scoping, detailed design, and construction of facilities, expansion, and new equipment lines across the entire company.

Desired Experiences
Experience conducting factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), failure and root cause analysis of high-power industrial control cabinets and transformers
Knowledge of power system reliability calculations in combination with system automation, maintenance programs and operations
Proficiency in failure analysis of electrical equipment
Useable knowledge of national and international standards and equipment (NFPA 70B, NFPA 79, IEC 60204-1, GB 5226.1, IEEE 493, NETA ATS, NETA MTS, and similar)
Experience mentoring junior engineers in technology and career growth
Professional Engineer or willing to obtain licensure

The range for this position is - assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
