The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the planning, estimating, providing day-to-day management, leadership, direction, and administration across the full project lifecycle (planning through implementation) on one or multiple complex IT and business-sponsored initiatives to deliver on time, within budget and within scope. This position works with Technology and Business teams, as well as the relevant Functional Managers, to ensure the project adheres to Tractor Supply IT methodologies, project scope and to Tractor Supply project standards. The Senior Project Manager manages resource time allocation and efforts, executes all phases of the project life cycle, and delivers on time, on budget with a high degree of quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)Experience: 7-9 years of experience managing the successful delivery of projects. IT Experience is preferred, Retail Experience is preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT required. Master’s degree preferred. Equivalent years of related work experience will be considered.
Professional Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred. Six Sigma and Lean certifications preferred. Proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
