Senior Paralegal – Litigation Support | Hybrid (Sacramento, CA)

CB Partners is working with a nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm to add a Senior Paralegal to its Sacramento office. This position sits at the center of complex litigation matters, partnering closely with attorneys to drive case strategy, execution, and overall workflow efficiency.
This is a hybrid opportunity with a consistent 3-day in-office schedule.
Compensation
$83,000 – $104,000 base salary, depending on experience
Bonus eligible, plus a highly competitive benefits package
What You’ll Do
- Act as a key liaison between attorneys, internal teams, and external stakeholders to keep matters moving forward
- Own case management from early-stage filings through trial preparation and post-filing support
- Oversee docketing and proactively manage deadlines across multiple jurisdictions
- Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
- Execute electronic filings in both state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with all procedural rules
- Organize and maintain case files within document management systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility
- Prepare TOCs and TOAs and ensure filings meet court formatting standards
- Support trial teams with exhibit prep, binders, and coordination of logistics
- Assist with client onboarding, matter setup, and ongoing case tracking
- Partner with attorneys to streamline processes and improve overall case efficiency
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive litigation experience (10+ years) within a law firm environment
- Deep familiarity with court procedures, filings, and litigation lifecycle management
- Strong technical proficiency with legal tools and platforms, including document management systems and TOC/TOA software
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and legal document formatting
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and operate with a high level of autonomy
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset
- Trial experience is a strong plus
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred
