Overview
ROLE AT A GLANCE:The Sr. Manager, Project Management leads the Project Management function for Creative Services in North America. This role is responsible for building and operating a centralized PMO model for the NAM region, setting standards for intake, prioritization, and governance, and ensuring the project portfolio is resourced, sequenced, and delivered with consistency and predictability. The role directly manages Project Managers (PM I and PM II) and serves as the functional owner of project management across the organization.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:•Lead and develop the Project Management organization, providing functional leadership, performance management, and career development for all PM•Establish and operate a centralized PMO, including ownership of intake, prioritization, portfolio planning, and governance across all Creative Services initiatives.• Oversee portfolio-level capacity planning, workload balancing, and resourcing to ensure projects are staffed appropriately and delivery risks are identified early.•Define and enforce standardized project management processes, SLAs, and operating norms to improve consistency, reduce rework, and strengthen cross-functional accountability.•Partner with senior stakeholders to sequence priorities, evaluate trade-offs, and resolve conflicts across initiatives before execution is at risk; partner closely with the Program Manager to plan resources against the roadmap and maintain a balanced, sustainable annual portfolio.•Provide executive-level visibility into project health, risks, dependencies, and capacity constraints, raising issues as needed.•Build scalable systems, tools, and reporting that enable predictable delivery and continuous operational improvement.•Additional duties as assigned.
TEAM DYNAMICS: •You will lead a high-performing team of Project Managers supporting large-scale creative, marketing, and promotional initiatives across North America.•The environment is fast-paced, cross-functional, and outcomes-driven, with a strong emphasis on operational discipline, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:•Directly manages Project Manager I and Project Manager II roles.•Responsible for hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and succession planning for the PM organization.Owns functional standards and operating model for project management across Creative Services.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:
Education•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or related field; or equivalent on the job experience.
Experience•8+ years of progressive project, program, or operations management experience within creative, marketing, agency, or complex cross-functional environments.•3–5+ years of people leadership experience managing project managers or operational teams.•Demonstrated experience building or leading a PMO, operational function, or enterprise-level workflow model.
Skills/Certifications•Executive-level leadership and organizational design capability with the ability to build scalable operating models.• Advanced portfolio, capacity, and resource planning expertise in high-volume, fast-paced environments.•Strong governance, prioritization, and risk-management acumen with the ability to drive accountability across senior stakeholders.•Outstanding communication and influence skills across creative, operational, and executive audiences.•Deep expertise in project management methodologies, enterprise PM tools, and workflow platforms (e.g., Workfront, Smartsheet, Asana, Jira, or similar); Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred.
