Sr. Maintenance Technician

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a 2nd shift Senior Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the RKE Extrusion/Value Added/Weld Line department supporting the manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 2nd shift Senior Maintenance Technician

Location: Rockledge, FL

Pay Range: $33-$35/hr

Shift: M-F 3pm-11pm or Sun-Thurs 11pm-7am

What's the Job?

• Perform complex diagnosis, planning, and execution of installations, repairs, modifications, and maintenance on equipment, building facilities, and vehicles.
• Utilize a broad range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls skills to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
• Fabricate, repair, install, and maintain machinery and hardware using various hand tools, machining equipment, welding tools, and precision measuring devices.
• Assist control engineers with repairs, diagnostics, and testing of control systems to optimize performance.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards, including participating in audits and validations.

What's Needed?

• Associates degree in a technical field or at least five years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience or completion of a recognized apprenticeship program.
• Ability to operate advanced trade mathematics, precision measuring instruments, and complex tools such as lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to perform complex installation, repair, and modification procedures.
• Manual dexterity and physical ability to handle tools and equipment, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in confined spaces or extreme conditions.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
