What You'll Do

We’re looking for a Sr Information Security Engineering leader to join our Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. In this role, you’ll formally lead and develop a team of security specialists, owning both people leadership and technical outcomes. You’ll help set the direction for modern IAM capabilities, elevate standards, and drive scalable, automated solutions that enable secure and efficient operations across the enterprise.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of information security specialists, supporting their technical growth, performance, and career development
  • Be accountable for team delivery, operational outcomes, and continuous improvement across IAM services
  • Build and inspire a capable support and engineering team.
  • Drive purposeful automation initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve auditability, and strengthen security posture
  • Make technical and architectural decisions that thoughtfully balance risk, usability, resiliency, and scale
  • Stay ahead of identity, access, and security industry trends and translate them into actionable improvements
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to business and risk partners, and clearly convey business objectives to technical teams to gain alignment and consensus

Who You Are

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field) or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in technology, information security, and/or IAM-related roles
  • Proficiency with info security and/or IAM tooling
  • Demonstrated ability to lead the design and implementation of security automation
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and senior leadership

Skills That Will Help You Stand Out

  • Formal people leadership experience, including performance management and team development
  • IAM domain knowledge (e.g., identity lifecycle, access controls, authentication, authorization)
  • Cloud security experience and familiarity with modern, cloud-based IAM platforms
  • Experience working in the financial services and/or insurance industry

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range

$127000 - $171000 / year

Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
