Position Overview: The FP&A role serves as a strategic business partner to Marketing and Commercial teams. This position supports financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and decision support across product costing, sales planning, customer profitability, and promotional investment. The role is critical in driving data‑driven decisions that enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.


Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasting; develop financial models for pricing and promotional effectiveness; analyze revenue, margin, and volume trends.
  • Act as the primary finance partner to Sales and Marketing teams by providing financial insights, scenario modeling, pricing, promotional calendars and strategic recommendations.
  • Help highlight opportunities to control spending in distribution and freight.
  • Partner with BU leaders to report and analyze spend to help drive business decisions.
  • Prepare and present dashboards; monitor trade spend compliance; deliver insights on promotional ROI at the key-account level.
  • Support product costing activities, ensuring accurate standard costs and understanding cost drivers.
  • Own the preparation, analysis, and maintenance of customer-level P&Ls.
  • Identify margin opportunities and work cross-functionally to improve customer profitability.
  • Support revenue growth management initiatives; improve forecasting accuracy; partner on e-commerce growth strategies.
  • Support annual planning cycle.
  • Consolidate volume and revenue forecasts, analyze variances, and communicate key trends.
  • Lead role in BBI on COGS analysis of actuals to help senior management understand variances related to mix and volume.
  • Ad hoc request “go to” on the FP&A team with the ability to pull data from multiple sources to provide a variety of P&Ls, to guide business leads/sales.



Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience with sophisticated tools: SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, Hyperion.
  • Advanced Excel, data mining, and reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Problem‑solving and critical thinking.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to distill complex financial data into actionable insights for non‑finance partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams.


Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, or Commercial Finance roles. (Beauty experience is strongly preferred).
