About the Company
Our client is a U.S.-based advanced manufacturing company supporting highly regulated, precision-driven industries. The business operates across multiple locations and serves customers where quality, traceability, operational discipline, and on-time delivery are critical.
This is a complex manufacturing environment with multiple business functions relying on ERP for daily execution, reporting, planning, and decision-making. Epicor plays a central role in connecting finance, supply chain, operations, production, procurement, inventory, quality, order management, and logistics.
The Opportunity
The company is hiring a Senior Epicor ERP Business Analyst / Specialist to help strengthen, standardize, and optimize how Epicor is used across the business.
- Serve as the bridge between business users and technical teams across finance, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, order management, logistics, and quality.
- Understand how the business actually works, identify where processes are inconsistent or inefficient, and translate those needs into practical Epicor solutions.
- Bring the judgment to know when the answer is better configuration, process redesign, training, reporting, automation, integration, or stronger use of Epicor best practices.
- Operate beyond narrow support or ticket-taking by asking strong questions, getting to root causes, improving adoption, and supporting Epicor across its full lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as an Epicor application and business process subject matter expert across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, order management, logistics, and quality.
- Partner directly with end users to understand business needs, diagnose process gaps, and identify opportunities to improve how Epicor is used across the organization.
- Support Epicor across the full application lifecycle, including optimization, documentation, production support, upgrades, on-premises to cloud migration, and non-Epicor to Epicor migrations.
- Help standardize and improve business processes using Epicor best practices, with a focus on consistency, scalability, data integrity, and operational efficiency.
- Design, create, and maintain BAQs, dashboards, BPMs, and Data Directives.
- Use strong knowledge of Epicor tables, schemas, relationships, and architecture to support reporting, troubleshooting, workflow improvements, and business analysis.
- Work closely with developers on customizations, extensions, interfaces, and integrations with tools that complement Epicor and improve business productivity.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, test scripts, training materials, and user-facing support resources.
- Lead or support end-to-end testing, including unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Train users, support change management, and help improve adoption across business functions and locations.
- Ensure Epicor security roles, permissions, and access controls are properly designed, maintained, and enforced.
- Support Epicor Kinetic, including web/cloud environments and multi-company or multi-site use cases.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as an Epicor Business Analyst, Epicor Specialist, ERP Business Analyst, or similar role in a manufacturing environment;
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and how ERP supports the flow of work across finance, supply chain, production, quality, purchasing, inventory, order fulfillment, and logistics.
- Hands-on Epicor experience across core and advanced modules, including finance, supply chain, forecasting, demand planning, MRP/MPS, AP automation, scheduling, quality, purchasing, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
- Strong SQL and BAQ development skills.
- Hands-on experience building and supporting dashboards, BPMs, and Data Directives.
- Strong understanding of Epicor table structures, relationships, architecture, and data integrity considerations.
- Experience working in multi-company, multi-site, or distributed manufacturing environments.
- Experience supporting project activities, including coordination, progress tracking, testing, stakeholder communication, and documentation.
- Ability to translate business needs into thoughtful Epicor solutions without over-customizing or creating unnecessary complexity.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
