The Senior Category Manager – Facilities, Construction and EH&S role has responsibility for strategic category leadership and leading negotiations and purchases for the entire organization. The Senior Category Manager has the critical responsibility of leading a team, managing business needs with internal partners to identify and manage a supply base to deliver value across all SBUs.
What you will do:
Team leadership with responsibility for contracting in the areas of Facilities, Construction, Utilities, Non-Haz & Haz Waste, Utilities, Disaster Recovery, EH&S, and Security
Responsible for multi-year strategy development, execution of Indirect Procurement processes and supplier relationship management
Develop relationships and communication strategies with internal partners to identify business needs and align supply base to achieve strategic direction
Responsible for building and managing strategic supplier relationships through formal Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process to improve supplier performance metrics including quality, delivery, productivity, and innovation
Provide leadership and oversight of the sourcing process to ensure spend is awarded to provide the maximum value
Lead the development and negotiation of contracts through the Contract Lifecycle Management process while maximizing value and minimizing risk
Partner with Regional and Global Procurement teams to ensure delivery of productivity and cost avoidance
What you will bring:
Demonstrated experience negotiating and coaching AIA contractual agreement execution
Demonstrated experience with negotiation and closure on Disaster Recovery, Construction Contractors and MEP suppliers
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
10+ years of experience in Supply Chain
7+ years of experience in Sourcing / Procurement
Sourcing experience in the development and management of a global supply base is required
Demonstrated success includes supplier development across regions, responsibility for high-level negotiations, leading multi-functional projects
Strong analytics experience
Lean experience beneficial
Ability to travel 15%
