Sr Analyst, Freight Audit

Job Summary: 

As the SR Analyst, Freight Audit you will support At Home’s Global Logistics & Finance operations teams. You will be responsible for all aspects of freight pay & audit (FP&A) for all of At Home’s Domestic (Inbound and Outbound Truckload and LTL carriers) and International (Origin, Ocean, Customs, Dray) logistics providers. This includes ensuring all providers adhere to process and timelines to enable efficient invoice processing and timely payment. Data accuracy and completeness will be key for you to enable rich and deep freight pay analysis for the business teams. This role will have dual responsibility to the Vice President of Global Logistics and the Senior Director of Accounting Operations to ensure cross-department goals are achieved. 

Key Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Own the strategic relationship with At Home’s designated Freight Pay & Audit provider

  • Responsible for on-going configuration and setup changes required in the FP&A platform; advocate for product enhancement requests from the business teams

  • Manage the performance of the Freight Pay & Audit provider, address performance issues and develop corrective action plans

  • Oversee daily activities within the platform and coordinate with internal and external teams as needed to ensure issues are resolved timely

  • Act as the internal subject matter expert on the Freight Pay & Audit platform, and the data derived from activities performed in the platform

  • Create and maintain SOPs and other process documentation to support internal training and business continuity 

  • Facilitate training sessions with key users to continuously increase the value realized from the Freight Pay & Audit platform, based on new learnings, new capabilities, and functionalities released

  • Enable business goals through strategic use of the Freight Pay & Audit data

  • Work with Business Intelligence team to expose Freight Pay & Audit data to business users, design metrics and monitor the overall health of the business processes

  • Lead new initiatives and manage change with a variety of internal and external partners

  • Oversee and contribute to the development of team, network and company strategy

  • Act as liaison between supply chain and inventory accounting for Freight Pay and Audit issues

  • Provide support and escalation to resolve any billing issues, disputes and aged items not resolved via the standard process

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in supply chain management, logistics, or finance-related field

    • Preferred: MBA or graduate degree

  • 4-6 years experience in supply chain management, logistics or a finance-related field

    • Preferred: Experience working with Freight Pay & Audit platforms

  • Experience managing performance of external providers

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products

    • Required: Expert Excel skills

    • Preferred: Power BI skills
