JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst will maintain accounts payable records, collaborate across teams, communicate with vendors, conduct analyses and other duties as assigned. This person will also perform ad hoc reporting and manages specific processes defined below.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Review and Approve invoices via Concur
Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain vendor records.
Maintain accounts payable records.
Assist in monthly closing.
Prepare analysis of accounts, as required.
Review and process employee expense reports via Concur.
Create and review payments.
Examine job responsibilities to create efficiencies.
Manage third party facilities software, including weekly payment files, leading conference calls and researching inconsistencies.
Collaborate with different functional teams to continue to develop world class finance and accounting processes; and actively contribute to a highly disciplined financial statement close.
Maintain process documentation and ensure SOX 404 compliance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Manage AP processing for Wells Fargo- Supply Chain Finance
Prepares Quarter End Write Offs file and entries associated with those write-offs
Prepare AP balance sheet reconciliations
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Experience with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel knowledge
Previous experience with SAP preferred
Must have analytical skills, be detail oriented and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Excellent analytical and proven problem-solving skills
