ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive expansion within institutional financial services markets. This role owns the full sales cycle, including cold outreach, pipeline development, deal management, and contract negotiation, with a focus on banks, broker‑dealers, RIAs, and wealth management firms.
This is a high‑impact position supporting strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic, outbound‑oriented seller with strong communication skills and a desire to build and scale within a collaborative, high‑performing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the sales pipeline end‑to‑end by prospecting, qualifying, nurturing, and closing new business with financial institutions, including banks, broker‑dealers, RIAs, and wealth managers through outbound outreach, networking, and strategic prospecting
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies to exceed revenue and growth targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, wealth managers, operations leaders, and compliance stakeholders by positioning yourself as a trusted advisor who understands business challenges before presenting solutions
- Establish credibility as a subject‑matter expert on annuities, life insurance, and financial technology trends, effectively differentiating solutions in competitive sales cycles
- Navigate complex, multi‑stakeholder decision processes while maintaining accurate pipeline reporting, forecasting, and activity tracking
- Partner closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure strong alignment and qualification throughout the sales process
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, roundtables, and other events as needed to close new business and expand market presence
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven outbound hunter with the ability to build a pipeline from zero and thrive in environments requiring cold outreach, persistence, and relationship development without warm lead handoffs
- Experience selling technology, data, or SaaS‑based solutions (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with financial services environments, including asset management, fixed income, portfolio management, and wealth management ecosystems
- Demonstrated history of consistently exceeding sales targets within long, complex sales cycles
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts to non‑technical and executive audiences
