This role focuses on installing and servicing low voltage cabling and related infrastructure in a variety of commercial environments. You will perform hands-on work such as pulling and terminating fiber, coax, and CAT6 cabling, installing conduit and cable tray, and connecting cabling to data center and other large equipment. The position requires strong attention to safety and quality, the ability to follow instructions from a lead technician, and a commitment to building a long-term career in low voltage construction.

Work Environment
The work environment is within an electrical contractor and technologies company of approximately 400 employees, delivering projects across diverse commercial settings. Typical sites include healthcare facilities, resorts and hotels, manufacturing plants, power stations, and small office buildings, offering exposure to complex and modern infrastructure. Most work follows a Monday–Friday schedule with a 5:00 a.m. start and approximately 10-hour days, resulting in a 50-hour workweek with overtime after 40 hours. Technicians frequently work on active construction sites, at heights on ladders or lifts, and occasionally in confined spaces, both indoors and outdoors. The role involves regular use of hand tools, power tools, test equipment, scissor lifts, and forklifts, with a strong emphasis on safety practices and compliance. Attire is typical of a construction and electrical environment, with appropriate workwear and personal protective equipment required to meet site and safety standards.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
