Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas’ campus includes Scripps Clinic Encinitas and an outpatient imaging center. We’re home to notable specialty programs including a 24-hour emergency room, accredited stroke care, physical rehabilitation services (including a brain injury day treatment program), our Baby Friendly birthing pavilion and a Level II neonatal intensive care unit.

The Speech Pathologist provides evaluation, assessment, treatment, and education to patients and family members through a continuum of care according to the Speech-Language Pathology Practice Act, Code of Ethics, JCAHO/UMQC, Policies and Procedures, and Federal/State regulations.Experience/Specialized Skills: Degree from an accredited Speech Pathology program or meets foreign-educated qualifications .

Required Certification/Registration:Licensed as a Speech Pathologist (SLP) in the state of California. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers. Certificate or pending Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) by ASHA.

Required Education/Course(s)/Training:At least one year of experience as a Speech Pathologist. Completion of Clinical Fellowship year in Speech Pathology. Proficient at conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies.

Position Pay Range: $54.24-$78.66/hour
