Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) as outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required (client-specific requirement).
• Active Texas license from the TX State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology required prior to start.
• BLS certification required (AHA only).
• Experience with adult populations including general medical, stroke, neuro, orthopedic, and bedside evaluations and treatment preferred.
• Experience providing dysphagia assessment and treatment and performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders preferred.
• Experience supervising or coordinating student programs or volunteer programs preferred.
• Ability to complete pre-employment/post-offer health screening and any annual employee health screenings.

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 08:00-16:30.
• Work Schedule: Thursday through Monday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5 days, 8 hours).
• Primary patient populations: Mostly adults; includes general medical, stroke, neuro, ortho, bedside; occasional merging with NICU patients.
