Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students and families across Los Angeles as a School-based Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you will help students develop the communication skills they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Whether working with elementary, middle, or high school students, or with itinerant caseloads, your expertise will directly influence student confidence and long-term outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct therapy targeting articulation, phonology, expressive/receptive language, and social communication
  • Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with foundational academic and social skills
  • Provide therapy aligned with curriculum demands (reading comprehension, following directions, etc.).
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff on accommodations and modifications
  • Conduct evaluations, write comprehensive reports, participate in IEP meetings, manage caseloads and service schedules effectively


Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • Prior school-based experience preferred
