Job Title: Sourcing Specialist
Location: Minneapolis MN 55401 (Remote Mon & Fri | Onsite Tue-Thu)
Duration: 12+ months
Shift: Flexible between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM
Summary:
This role is intended to supplement the manager’s existing sourcing team and perform the same functions as current team members, rather than supporting a single defined project. The resource will support large capital and onsite services projects for the nuclear fleet, managing end ‐ to ‐ end strategic sourcing activities including intake review, contract development, sourcing events, negotiations, execution, and post ‐ award contract management.
Responsibilities :
Review and validate sourcing requests from stakeholders
Ensure required information and compliance elements are in place
Conduct vendor risk assessments
Negotiate pricing and contract terms
Run sourcing events (RFPs/bids) when required
Execute purchase orders and assist with invoice issue resolution
Manage supplier performance and recovery plans
Maintain nuclear contract records and documentation (life-of-plant retention)
Skills and qualifications:
Strategic sourcing or purchasing experience
Contract negotiation and supplier management
Microsoft Word (advanced formatting), Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with large projects and complex scopes
Ability to manage workload independently
