Join a dynamic and innovative recruiting team dedicated to supporting technical/nontechnical teams. As a Sourcing Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in driving candidate generation strategies and ensuring a top-notch candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit and source candidates for a variety of job families, including non-technical, hardware, data engineering, and software development roles.
  • Focus on top-of-funnel activities, including identifying, engaging, and nurturing passive candidates for niche and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Conduct candidate outreach through multiple channels to build strong, diverse pipelines in tight timeframes.
  • Perform phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, interest, and overall fit for open roles.
  • Coordinate and set up assessments and business phone screens with hiring teams and stakeholders.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews by setting expectations, explaining processes, and ensuring they have the information needed to succeed.
  • Check references and support the offer process for selected candidates as needed.
  • Conduct exit interviews and process changes in employee status when required.
  • Use an applicant tracking system (ATS) and Excel to manage candidate data, track progress, and maintain accurate records.
  • Generate and maintain regular reports on recruiting activities and pipeline health, aligned with weekly and monthly metrics.
  • Collaborate with recruiting peers and managers, participating in regular meetings to share updates, align priorities, and optimize processes.
  • Work within an agile recruiting model, pivoting quickly to support areas of greatest hiring demand across different teams and job families.
  • Leverage data and performance metrics to manage workload, prioritize roles, and consistently meet or exceed productivity and hiring targets.
  • Apply creativity and sound judgment to solve recruiting challenges and improve sourcing strategies.
  • Potentially lead and direct aspects of work for others on the team, drawing on extensive experience and best practices.

Essential Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition professional in the field or a related area.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA).
  • Proven experience in passive candidate recruiting, with a strong track record of proactively sourcing and engaging candidates rather than relying on inbound applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to fill niche and hard-to-find roles in competitive markets.
  • Experience with high-volume recruiting and delivering strong candidate pipelines within tight timelines.
  • Hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Proficiency in Excel for tracking, reporting, and analyzing recruiting metrics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain clear, professional interactions with candidates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to pivot quickly between different requisitions, job families, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with a variety of recruiting concepts, practices, and procedures, and the ability to apply judgment and experience to accomplish goals.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a technology or Fortune 500 company is highly beneficial.
  • Background in both corporate and agency recruiting environments is welcome; agency recruiters often adapt well to this role.
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience, including sourcing, screening, and coordinating offers and onboarding.
  • Technical sourcing experience, particularly for corporate and technology roles.
  • Data-oriented mindset with comfort working toward weekly and monthly targets and productivity metrics.
  • Ability to thrive in a goal-driven, fast-paced culture with a high degree of autonomy and ownership.
  • Experience participating in or supporting experimental or agile recruiting projects.
  • Prior experience recruiting for this specific environment or similar large-scale organizations is a plus.

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite in an Austin office. You work in a fast-paced, agile recruiting environment that is highly data-oriented and goal-driven, with clear weekly and monthly performance metrics. The role is part of an experimental project team composed of internal employees reporting to a central manager, designed to flex and deploy recruiting support to areas of highest demand across multiple job families. You collaborate closely with onsite recruiting peers, your manager, and recruiting leaders from the teams you support, with frequent candidate interactions throughout the day. The organization provides a structured one-week onboarding and recruiter ramp training to help you get up to speed quickly. Work does not require coverage on holidays, and you operate in a professional office setting that emphasizes productivity, collaboration, and effective use of recruiting tools and technology.

This is a Contract position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
