Job Description
The Sourcing Analyst supports the development, execution, and ongoing management of procurement strategies across assigned vendors and categories. This role partners with internal stakeholders and suppliers to help deliver cost‑effective, compliant, and efficient sourcing solutions. The Sourcing Analyst contributes to contract reviews, supplier evaluations, and process improvements while developing foundational sourcing and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of sourcing and procurement strategies for assigned vendors and categories
Partner with internal business stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and recommend effective procurement approaches
Assist with supplier evaluations, proposal reviews, and sourcing events to ensure business and customer requirements are met
Support contract review and negotiation activities under the guidance of senior sourcing professionals
Monitor supplier performance, market trends, and internal priorities to inform sourcing recommendations
Maintain vendor and contract documentation and support reporting needs
Contribute to cross‑functional sourcing and category projects, including short‑ and longer‑term initiatives
Assist with process improvements and adoption of tools or technology to drive efficiency and consistency
Build and maintain positive working relationships with suppliers and internal partners
Help track and communicate benefits and outcomes from sourcing and category initiatives
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain management or logistics, or equivalent work experience
- At least one year of related experience
Preferred Skills and Experience
Exposure to category management or development of sourcing strategies for enterprise spend
Ability to manage relationships with multiple vendors and internal stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates and business partners at varying levels
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning procurement systems and tools

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
