Position Summary

Our organization is seeking a Director of Sourcing to lead our sourcing team and oversee all activities related to acquiring goods and services at optimal value while ensuring total supply chain continuity. This leader will be responsible for driving supplier negotiations, managing key relationships, and analyzing spend data to reduce costs and mitigate business risks. The successful candidate will develop and execute strategic procurement plans, project-manage the implementation of new suppliers, and standardize agreements across the enterprise.


Core Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that support both short-term and long-term organizational objectives.

Supplier Management: Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, quality, and compliance, taking corrective actions as needed to meet company requirements for price and delivery.

Financial Oversight: Manage and report on the business impact of tariffs, including tracking and reporting product cost increases to the executive team.

Process Standardization: Complete RFPs, negotiate high-level contracts, and establish clear performance metrics for the global supplier base.

Inventory Collaboration: Partner closely with inventory and procurement teams to ensure proper Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) levels by SKU.

Strategic Engagement: Build and foster key supplier relationships, including leading annual strategic messaging events to communicate growth expectations and reward high performance.

Data & Analytics: Prepare and present detailed supplier reports and metrics, including spend analysis and cost-savings initiatives.


Required Skills & Experience

Professional Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement management.

Industry Background: Previous experience within the industrial distribution sector or a related field is highly preferred.

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to execute strategic sourcing plans that achieve measurable cost savings and efficiency goals.



Negotiation & Analysis: Exceptional negotiation skills paired with strong analytical abilities to make data-driven decisions.

Technical Proficiency: Proficient in ERP software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Work Environment: The role involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.

Commitment: Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple high-priority projects and stakeholders.
