Position Description:

As a Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in designing and delivering technology solutions that enhance customer and dealer experiences. You'll provide hands-on technical leadership, collaborating with product owners, managers, ITS, business stakeholders, and vendors. While not a people manager, you'll lead by influence across teams, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and sustainable solutions.
This role is best suited for someone who:
. Is a former Senior/Lead Architect or Principal Engineer
. Has broad system exposure + deep specialization in integration/cloud
. Is comfortable operating at both whiteboard strategy level and implementation detail level


The preferred location for this position is Fort Lauderdale FL; however, it can be done from any US CGI office with travel to the client site as needed.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Solution & Technical Architecture
. Design and document scalable, secure, and reusable architectures leveraging the approved enterprise technology portfolio, architectural standards, and patterns.
. Lead solution and technical design for portals, APIs, integrations, and supporting services.
. Develop and document integration frameworks for internal systems, SaaS solutions, and third party systems.
. Evaluate solution options and risks, ensuring alignment with business goals, product roadmaps, and long term experience strategy.
. Ensure technical delivery meets performance, security, availability, scalability and compliance
. Communicate complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Product & Experience Alignment
. Partner with Product Owners/Managers to align solutions with evolving business needs
. Support seamless omnichannel user experiences and platform integration.
. Balance near term delivery with long term architectural health.
. Participate in Pre PI and PI Planning to translate architectural intent into actionable, executable plans with delivery teams.
. Partner with solution and product leadership to ensure appropriate capacity is allocated between business features and architectural enablement work.
. Continuously evolve solution architecture to support new business priorities and expand product capabilities.
. Advance and adapt NFRs as solutions mature and usage patterns evolve.
. Ensure compliance with regulatory, security and organizational standards.

Delivery & Leadership
. Exhibits executive presence by communicating clearly, making confident decisions and representing the organization effectively in leadership forums.
. Provide technical leadership and vision through the solution delivery lifecycle.
. Lead cross functional technical teams through influence and collaboration.
. Identify and manage technical risks, dependencies and resources.
. Mentor architects, developers, and integration teams.
. Represent technical solutions to senior stakeholders.


Architecture Governance
. Leverage and help evolve enterprise architectural patterns and standards.
. Participate in and contribute to Architecture Governance processes to ensure alignment with enterprise direction.
. Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency and reuse.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Deep expertise in software architecture, solution design, and technology delivery.
. Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale digital platforms serving diverse user groups.
. Strong background in application, API, and data integration across distributed systems.
. Experience with microservices, event driven architecture, and canonical data models.
. Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD practices.
. Knowledge of IT security, identity management, and governance.
. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales and Experience Clouds, Salesforce
Integration and Azure (B2B/B2C, AD, MFA, SAML, OAuth).
. Broad familiarity with infrastructure, networking, databases, and cloud platforms.
. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) with at least 15 years in the industry, including 5 years of hands-on full-stack development in Java or .NET.
. Experience working in Agile and SAFe practices.

Other Information:
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 - $198,400.00.
