Job Title: Soldering Technician

Job Description

The Soldering Technician performs precision through-hole and electronic assembly work on printed circuit boards, using microscopes and hand tools to produce high-quality electronic products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform precise through-hole soldering on printed circuit boards in accordance with established standards and work instructions.
  • Use a microscope to inspect and assemble small electronic components, ensuring accurate placement and high-quality solder joints.
  • Carry out electronic assembly tasks, including installing components, wiring, and connectors on PCBs and related assemblies.
  • Conduct basic electronic testing to verify functionality of assembled boards and identify any defects or rework needs.
  • Perform quality inspection of soldered and assembled parts, checking for workmanship, completeness, and conformance to specifications.
  • Complete mechanical assembly tasks as required, including assembling housings, brackets, and other hardware components.

Work Environment

This role is based in an electronics production environment focused on printed circuit board and electronic assembly. You will work primarily on a day shift, typically between 6:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., providing a consistent daytime schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camarillo, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
