Wells Fargo is seeking a seasoned developer to join the Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology space, specifically in our Capital Markets team. We are looking for a senior C++ developer that will develop and maintain build/testing/deployment framework for the equity derivatives quantitative model library. API interface/implementation for multiple languages/platform will also be part of the project. It includes projects to migrate products in the existing quant library to the new IT risk engine. A cross between a quant developer and systems engineer is an ideal profile (ie - experiences of having done both).
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced experience in capital markets business and processes
- Knowledge and understanding of mathematical modeling
- Knowledge and understanding of derivatives trading and pricing
- Basic knowledge and understanding of SEC, FNRA, and international regulations for building technological solutions
Other Desired Qualifications
- 4+ years of development Boost Libraries or ACE
- 4+ years of working on projects that support the trade/syndication/pricing of financial derivatives like options and swaps
- M.S. or M.A. in numerate disciplines
- Experience building distributed applications
- Experience building regression framework
- Experience building cross platform applications/libraries
- Java/.NET experience
- Exposure to functional languages like Haskell or Scala
- Have experience with the best practices of Agile/and test driven programming
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: securities, quants, artificial intelligence, or machine learning
- A BS/BA degree or higher
- 8+ years of C++ experience
- 4+ years of information security experience
Desired Qualifications
- A Masters degree or higher in computer science or finance
- A professional certification in technology
- Basic knowledge of industry regulations related to building technological solutions
- Knowledge and understanding of stochastic calculus, stochastic processes, and derivatives valuation
- A Master's degree or higher
- 4 + years of .Net and Java application development experience or a combination of both
- Knowledge of widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
- 2+ years of experience with continuous integration development technologies such as IBM Udeploy, (UrbanCode Deploy), Jenkins, etc.
- Experience with version control or source code repositories to include: Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory or XMLSpy
