Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the Cornerstone API Platform team. Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs. 
Works on the most complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. Plans, performs, and acts as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing. Leads most complex multiple modeling,
simulations, and analysis efforts. Acts as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process. 

• Analyze business and technical requirements to determine system design, potential issues, and, impact analysis for each project
• Lead projects following Agile paradiam, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced developers
• Provide expertise about standard practices on coding standards
• Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for the developed applications
• Review Requirements Documents and develop implementation strategies that preserve the availability, performance, integrity, stability, and scalability of systems
• Produce architecture and design documents to effectively communicate the solution to the business and provide direction for the development teams and infrastructure partners
• Interact with internal and external technical leaders to develop innovative solutions that meet business needs
• Research new innovative tools and technologies and lead proof-of-concepts to drive adoption



Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • 7+ years of web design and development experience
  • 7+ years of Java experience
  • 7+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
  • 7+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
  • 7+ years of Oracle experience
  • 7+ years of PL/SQL experience


Desired Qualifications

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 5+ years of microservices development experience
  • 1+ year of Kafka Platform experience, Confluent Platform experience, or a combination of both
  • 2+ years of Agile experience


Other Desired Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with Camel framework
  • 3+ years of experience in front end application development, operations and automation using React, Redux, AngularJS and Node
  • Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale, React/Java/Spring projects from end-to-end.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, Cloud Foundry and PaaS design principles, containers, API Gateway
  • 4+ years of Responsive Design experience
  • Good knowledge of Java best practices and J2EE design patterns along with experience with application servers (i.e. WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, etc.), and Oracle database servers.
  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD concepts preferably in Jenkins is helpful
  • Strong understanding of OOP & SOA principles, Enterprise design patterns & industry best practices
  • Demonstrate excellent track record of delivering quality software products by following iterative and agile SDLC
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile
  • Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Knowledge and understanding of information security principles, policies, and procedures
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment
  • Ability to translate and present complex technical data across technical and non-technical groups
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry
