Role: Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our Business Process Workflow Services team. The Senior QA Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of business process workflows across various platforms and systems. This role involves close collaboration with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate process designs, identify defects, and ensure high-quality deliverables that meet business requirements. 


Job Responsibilities

 

  • Test Planning & Execution 
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business process requirements and workflow designs
  • Execute manual and automated testing across workflow applications and platforms
  • Validate end-to-end business processes for accuracy, completeness, and performance

     

  • Defect Management 
  • Identify, document, and track defects using standard QA tools
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Participate in root cause analysis and recommend process improvements

     

  • QA Team Oversight 
  • Lead junior team members 
  • Work with QA Leads to standards and process methods are improved and maintained 

     

  • Process Validation 
  • Ensure workflows align with business rules, compliance standards, and operational goals
  • Perform regression testing to validate changes and enhancements
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate with stakeholders to sign-off

     

  • Documentation & Reporting 
  • Maintain detailed QA documentation including test results, defect logs, and quality metrics
  • Provide regular status updates and quality reports to project managers and leadership
  • Contribute to QA best practices and continuous improvement initiatives

 

Job Requirements 

 

  • Education & Experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or testing, preferably in business process or workflow environments

 

  • Technical Skills 
  • Proficiency in QA tools such as Jira, Octane, or other similar 
  • Experience with workflow platforms (e.g., Appian, Pega, ServiceNow, or similar)
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages 

 

  • Analytical & Communication Skills 
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

 

  • Other Qualifications 
  • QA Team leader responsibilities 
  • Knowledge of business process modeling and documentation standards
  • Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Certification in QA or testing (e.g., ISTQB) is desirable
