The elite tier of our client's GTM engineering org. Forward Deployed Engineers (Software Engineers) are the Navy SEALs — they handle any technical situation and can interface with any executive. Pre-and post-sales technical work, shoulder-to-shoulder with customers. If a POC fails because of a technical issue, the FDE owns it.

Requirements:
- ~3–6 years, Computer Science background from a strong program
- Background in consulting, pre-sales, or solutions engineering with real engineering roots underneath
- Must have built agents — if they haven't built any agents themselves, that is a red flag, regardless of other qualifications
- Must be able to articulate how agents work at an architectural level — memory, harnesses, progressive disclosure, compute tradeoffs. Not just "I use Claude Code."
- Ideal profile: Highly technical individual who wants to use both sides of their brain — building and people to engage/form relationships with a high-level executive
