Software Engineer

Staff Machine Learning Engineer, Platform - San Francisco, CA

A Series C funded, high-growth AI HealthTech building real-time clinical intelligence to reduce admin burden and improve patient outcomes.

What will I be doing:

• Building and owning ML platform infrastructure for production AI systems
• Creating evaluation frameworks, release gates, and observability tooling
• Developing debugging and replay tools to investigate model performance
• Designing data pipelines and retrieval systems for model-ready inputs
• Improving model performance, reliability, and scalability

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years in software engineering, with ML infrastructure/platform experience
• Strong backend skills (Python, TypeScript or similar)
• Experience with eval systems, data pipelines, or ML observability
• Proven ownership of cross-team platform projects
• Comfortable across ML + engineering (MLOps)
