This individual should have strong technical skill set and proficient in solution design, coding, test automation, micro services design along with being skilled in identifying talented technology professionals and must demonstrate the ability to communicate  to all levels of the organization and must be capable of mentoring and overseeing junior developers. The candidate must have extensive experience with Java programming, object-oriented design,cloud native design patterns, MongoDB, Oracle, Java Spring Boot, micro services modern software design principles on cloud. The ideal candidate will be a forward thinker, passionate technologist, expert in modern software development practices, and have the experience to operate across the enterprise technology infrastructure through understanding of available technology, and tools. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a rapidly changing environment and possess sound judgment and reasoning skills.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of Java experience
• 2+ years of experience in microservices development
• 2 + years of experience with cloud based tools: Azure, PCF (Pivotal cloud foundry ) or a combination of both
• 2+ years of experience with Apache Kafka or Confluent Enterprise
• 2+ years of application refactoring experience using 12 Factor Methodology
• 1+ year of experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkins or Cucumber
• 3+ years of experience with secure DevOps and deployment automation to cloud environments
• 5 + years of Core Java experience
• 2+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
• Ability to translate complex technical needs into straightforward requests for information and collaboration, working with a wide range of people
• Consumer credit experience
• A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology

• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Must have a strong analytical background
• Must have the ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Must be able to interface with architects, infrastructure groups and Line of Business project technical staff
