Hybrid Role, Candidate must be able to work on site as needed.

The First month will be onsite, then it will go to two days a week remote maximum.

Contract to hire. Candidates must be a green card holder or U.S citizen.


Job Description:

  • We are searching for a quality C# developer to program, maintain code, and .NET solutions for our business. In this role, you will be required to design, write, and maintain C# program code for our future and ongoing projects.
  • You will also be required to contribute to design and planning sessions as well as formulate approaches for current coding tasks.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality applications in C#/Angular/SQL Server.
  • Candidates must describe experience with large menu driven business systems, such as claims processing, payroll, medical, or insurance type applications.
  • The candidate will be knowledgeable in transferring data between application screens, selecting and scrolling through large amounts of data, add/update/delete order-entry type of transactions, and building new screens and reports.
  • We do not use API's. To ensure success as a C# developer you must have an excellent grasp of C# and the .NET framework, prolific coding abilities, and be able to problem-solve on a daily basis.
  • A top-quality C# developer will be able to handle the creation, maintenance, and further development of .NET applications and programs.
  • The Duration of this role will go longer than the current PO. This is a contract to hire role which means the duration of this contract will be for a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of an extension.
  • Per the manager, SCB Does not use API's. keep this in mind when submitting candidates.


C# Developer Responsibilities:

  • Developing C# .NET solutions for the organization.
  • Creating in-house applications using the.NET framework.
  • Debugging and maintaining written code (no API's).
  • Defining and organizing projects on an ongoing basis.
  • Reporting and resolving issues related to .NET projects.
  • Identifying and handling technical risks and issues.
  • Working in a project team alongside other developers.
  • Providing technical support to stakeholders in the organization.
  • Reporting on project statuses and developments to senior team members.
  • Participating in project meetings with management and other team members

C# Developer Requirements:

  • C#, .NET 3.1 (or higher)
  • Angular (gRPC would be a plus)
  • SQL Server
  • Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code
  • Knowledge of build and deployment repositories such as Azure Dev Ops or Git Hub.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a C# programmer or developer.
  • Knowledge of other coding-languages (COBOL, PHP, C+, Java, Python, Coldfusion, etc.) would be a plus.
  • Ability to write clean, easy to understand code.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and complete projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with ColdFusion would be nice to have but not necessary.
  • Sound understanding of coding and development processes.
  • Experience with working in an agile environment.
