SRI’s Center for Software Engineering is looking for a motivated Software Engineer who is passionate about creating and applying world-class, high-value software solutions for government and industry within a company whose culture values both hard work and a balanced life. The candidate will collaborate with other talented engineers (both local and remote) on a set of diverse projects ranging from embedded systems to web development. We value clear, logical thinking, good communication skills, a focus on quality and security, and the ability to work well in a team of engineering and research professionals across SRI’s broad range of technology domains.
This position will work a hybrid schedule based in our Princeton, NJ office.
Responsibilities
Work with a small team to develop software modules that control commercial components to collect data. Other software analyzes the data to produce weapon accuracy “scores”. This opportunity provides experience of integrating software with hardware components for mission-focused work on DoD test events.
Qualifications
The salary range is: $$81,522-$94,770. Salary ranges will vary and are based on several factors, including geographic location, market competitiveness and equity amongst internal employees in similar roles. Positions may also qualify for SRI's Pay for Outstanding Performance program or the annual Performance Based Compensation program.
