Clearance Requirement: DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer SME with an active government clearance to support complex federal programs and deliver high‑impact ServiceNow solutions. In this role, you will serve as a senior technical expert—configuring, designing, developing, and optimizing ServiceNow applications that drive mission success for our government clients.
You’ll collaborate with architects, project managers, and customer stakeholders to translate mission needs into scalable, secure, and high‑performing ServiceNow capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Development & Architecture
- Lead the design, development, configuration, and customization of ServiceNow applications across multiple modules (ITSM, ITOM, SAM, HAM, DevOps or others).
- Develop complex workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, integrations, and custom applications.
- Serve as the technical SME for ServiceNow best practices, platform governance, and architectural standards.
- Implement secure coding practices aligned with federal cybersecurity requirements (NIST, RMF, FedRAMP).
Customer & Project Delivery
- Work directly with federal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on platform capabilities, roadmap planning, and modernization strategies.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues, ensuring high availability and performance.
Integration & Automation
- Design and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, MID Servers, IntegrationHub Spokes, and custom APIs.
- Automate processes and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort across the enterprise.
Documentation & Compliance
- Produce high‑quality technical documentation, including design specs, test plans, and deployment guides.
- Ensure all development aligns with federal security, compliance, and change management standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. Government Security Clearance (TS/SCI)
- 3–6+ years of ServiceNow development experience, with deep expertise across multiple modules.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide Scripting, Flow Designer, and ServiceNow ITSM Modules.
- Experience supporting federal programs or secure government environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-3 ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certifications (ITSM, ITOM, HAM, SAM, HRSD, SecOps, IRM, CSM, etc.).
- Experience with ServiceNow Scoped Applications and custom app development.
- Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, ATF, Git, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with federal frameworks such as NIST 800‑53, RMF, or FedRAMP.
- Prior consulting experience, ideally with ServiceNow Elite partners.
