Our Client is hiring a Software Engineer III (Backend‑Focused Full Stack) to build scalable core services, shared frameworks, and platform components that enable multiple teams to deliver high‑impact clinical applications.
This role is backend-first, with most of the work focused on Java and Spring Boot, designing APIs, building event‑driven integrations, and developing reusable platform services. You’ll also contribute to React and TypeScript–based frontend integration layers to support end‑to‑end workflow validation.
What You’ll Do
- Design and build backend services and shared platform components using Java and Spring Boot
- Develop RESTful APIs with strong contracts, consistent error handling, and clear documentation
- Build event‑driven integrations using Kafka
- Work with relational databases, caching, search, and analytics platforms
- Contribute to shared libraries and services used by multiple domain teams
- Support full‑stack integration using React and TypeScript
- Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews
- Use observability tools to support production troubleshooting and service reliability
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7 years of professional software development experience (backend‑heavy)
- Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and event‑driven systems
- Solid understanding of SQL, ORM frameworks, and database performance
- Working knowledge of React and TypeScript
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Linux environments, and automated testing
- Strong communication and documentation skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with healthcare or clinical data standards
- Experience building shared platform services or frameworks
- Exposure to Docker, Elasticsearch, or analytics platforms
- Agile/Scrum experience in enterprise environments
