Job Summary: We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join our dynamic team in developing and supporting the FLY Load Planner product team's initiatives, including building the Centralized Load Planning (CLP) system. The role involves transitioning load planners to a centralized model, requiring development across multiple interconnected products and delivering safety-critical systems. The position offers a remote working option, with potential for extension or conversion, dedicated to automating and centralizing operations for enhanced efficiency and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement software solutions based on requirements.
Work closely with the lead Software Development Engineer to define tasks and understand their scope.
Engage in coding, testing, and possibly designing parts of the project.
Participate in sprint planning and daily sync meetings with the lead engineer.
Collaborate with a senior team to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Must-Have Skills:
Proficiency in TypeScript development.
Experience working with AWS technologies and architectures.
Background in General AI technologies.
Industry Experience: Prior experience in the transportation or aviation industry is highly beneficial.
