Software Architect (AI-Driven Engineering)
Location: Downtown Austin, TX 78703
Salary: $150K
Our client is looking for a systems-minded Architect to help build scalable, AI-powered applications. You'll own features end-to-end, drive architecture decisions, and leverage AI tools to accelerate development while ensuring production-grade performance and security.
Responsibilities
- Own features from design through deployment and maintenance
- Lead with AI tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) to streamline development
- Drive system architecture with a focus on scalability and long-term health
- Collaborate across React, Python, iOS, and API layers
- Monitor production performance and address technical debt
- Communicate timelines, risks, and progress with stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong full-stack or platform engineering background
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools
- Systems-level thinker with startup mentality
- Comfortable working across multiple tech stacks
