Expected starting salary $34.62 to $46.23. Full salary range $34.62 to $57.83.
Bachelor's OR Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
Regular and reliable attendance is a necessary component of job/position. Individuals required to use County vehicles and equipment must have a valid driver's license and be free of any major traffic violations for the last three (3) years.
Desirable Qualifications:
Two (2) years of social service-related experience.
Under supervision, and within Federal, State and locally developed programs and policies, identifies individual and/or family needs and works toward meeting those needs through County and community support services. Provides case management and/or advocacy for customers. May provide education in community-based settings. Works within a multi-disciplinary team setting. Supports a diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplace.- Conducts home visits and interviews clients to assess needs, challenges, and strengths within individuals and family systems.
- Partners with families in the development of case plan goals that leverage family strengths to address barriers or challenges.
- Partners with families and schools to address attendance and behavioral concerns for children.
- Partners with the County Attorney's Office to support youth involved in the CHIPS-Truancy process
- Participate in school and other community-related meetings to address educational outcomes for children.
- Assists families with connecting to and accessing community resources (Early childhood education, childcare, employment, food, cash, and health benefits).
- Advocates for children, families, and communities.
- Maintains electronic case file documentation in compliance with program requirements.
- Promotes and supports engagement of natural supports and collaboration using case planning, family group, and other conference meetings.
- Participates in and presents work with families during weekly unit consultation.
- Performs related work as required.
