SOCIAL, CONTENT, & EVENTS COORDINATOR
About the Role
Geotrek builds adventure-ready Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans for people who take their weekends seriously. We’re growing fast, building our marketing team in-house, and looking for someone who lives and breathes outdoor culture, knows how to make content that actually stops the scroll, and can show up at a trade show and make it feel like a destination.
This role sits at the intersection of social media, content creation, and event execution. You’ll be the person who makes Geotrek feel alive on Instagram, keeps our community engaged, and runs point on the expo circuit from setup to strike. You’re not just posting — you’re building something.
What You’ll Own
Social Media
- Day-to-day execution of Geotrek’s organic social presence (Instagram primary, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Shoot, edit, and publish Reels, Stories, and feed content — phone-native content and polished edits both
- Maintain brand voice and visual consistency across all platforms
- Monitor comments, DMs, and community engagement — respond and build relationships
- Track performance and flag what’s working; bring ideas for what to test next
Content Support
- Support content production alongside the video/photo team — shot lists, logistics, on-site direction
- Write short-form copy: captions, email snippets, event materials, social scripts
- Contribute to the 6 content pillars: The Build, Behind the Build, The Decision, Life in the Van, Owner Stories, Community
- Help organize and tag assets in our DAM
Events & Expos
- Own logistics for Geotrek’s trade show and expo presence — up to 15 shows annually across the country, potentially more.
- Coordinate booth build, equipment totes, van transport, and on-site setup
- Capture content at events — photo, video, stories — and publish in real time
- Manage lead capture and handoff to the sales team post-show
- Support the Owners Meetups and community events as they grow
Creator & Influencer Outreach
- Execute creator outreach on behalf of Hanna — drafting first-contact emails, follow-ups, and partnership logistics comms
- Maintain the creator pipeline — tracking outreach status, deliverable timelines, and content going live
- Coordinate logistics for creator partnerships — van access, expense tracking, shot list briefs, event coordination
- Collect and organize creator-produced content for use across social and other channels
- Creator strategy and relationship ownership stays with Hanna — this role is the execution and coordination layer
What We’re Looking For
• 2-4 years of experience in social media, content creation, or marketing — outdoor, lifestyle, or DTC brand experience is a strong plus
• Comfortable behind a camera — phone content and DSLR/mirrorless both
• Strong eye for aesthetics and a genuine sense of what performs on social vs. what just looks good on a mood board.
• Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar) — you don’t need to be a filmmaker, but you should be able to put together a Reel.
• Organized and detail-oriented — you’re the kind of person who makes a packing list for a weekend camping trip.
• You’ve been to an expo, a trailhead, or a campsite recently and it felt like home.
• Comfortable traveling to events — some weekends required.
• Boulder-based or willing to relocate
Bonus Points
- Experience with van life, overlanding, biking, skiing, climbing, or outdoor lifestyle communities
- You’ve built or grown a brand account from scratch
- Familiarity with HubSpot or a CRM for lead capture at events
- Canva power user or basic graphic design chops
What You’ll Get
- A seat at the table as we build the Geotrek brand from the inside out
- Real ownership over channels and events — not busywork
- A team that actually adventures — you will go to cool places for work
- Competitive salary, health benefits, and a culture that takes the weekend seriously
