We take pride in developing and deploying the best Field Managers in the industry, leaders who drive performance, uphold standards, and deliver successful project outcomes.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Low Voltage Site Superintendent is responsible for leading all field operations on assigned projects in alignment with Cupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) standards. This role ensures that all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contract requirements, CEI Corporate Safety Program, and applicable regulations.The Superintendent serves as the onsite leader, managing subcontractors, coordinating daily construction activities, driving productivity, and ensuring quality installation while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.Safety
  • Lead all field operations in compliance with the CEI Corporate Safety Program and contract specifications.
  • Promote a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to all local, state, and federal safety regulations.
  • Enforce proper use of PPE in accordance with CEI standards and subcontractor safety programs.
  • Participate in incident investigations including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • Ensure Injury/Accident Investigation Packets are completed accurately and submitted timely.
  • Conduct weekly safety audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Ensure clean and organized jobsite conditions.
Contract Management
  • Review contract documents with Project Manager to understand scope, risks, and execution requirements.
  • Provide input to project issues log and support resolution of field-related challenges.
  • Responsible for ensuring BIM model population, coordination, scheduling, and constructability.
Scheduling / Resource Loading
  • Develop, review, validate, and align project schedules for sequencing and constructability.
  • Provide feedback to PM team and GC and ensure integration with GC schedule.
  • Drive construction efforts to meet project schedule and communicate risks with project management
  • Partner with Project Manager to develop resource loaded schedules.
  • Ensure subcontractors meet staffing and schedule commitments.
Project Start-Up
  • Review plans, specs, estimate, and schedule.
  • Work with subs and GC to establish tactical execution and logistics plan aligned with project schedule.
  • Coordinate field document needs with Project Manager and align with project specs, submittals, and CEI practices.
Submittals
  • Review submittals for constructability and compliance.
  • Ensure approved submittals are used for planning and installation.
  • Establish and confirm adherence to process for receiving and validating materials as they arrive on site in order to prevent installation of unapproved components.
  • Coordinate field comments through Project Manager.
QA/QC, Testing & Commissioning
  • Ensure there is an approved Project Specific Quality Plan (PSQP) in place for the project with supporting required document examples for inspections, testing and closeout.
  • Ensure subcontractors have submitted a Quality Plan with required inspection and testing documents incorporated into it.
  • Support Quality Assurance & Quality Control processes per PSQP. (Quality Control is comprised of the field team installations in the field and completion of Construction Verification Documents. Quality Assurance is the sample inspections of all completed work, review of inspection and testing documents, and compliance walks with the inspectors for final review of installation.).
  • Ensure all subcontractors’ work is inspected by CEI prior to walks with GC/Owner or AHJ and verify install meets CEI standards applicable Codes.
  • Coordinate testing and commissioning readiness.
  • Maintain code compliance and required documentation onsite.
ABOUT YOU
  • Fundamental BIM understanding.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, scheduling and construction services.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, Blue Beam and Navis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAny combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Licensure/Certifications:OSHA 30 preferred

Experience: 7+ years of progressively responsible directly related work experience.
