Description
Ameresco is seeking a SSHO for a 6 year, $200M dollar program at Navy Research Lab in Washington DC. This program is a large overhaul and replacement of chillers, boilers as well as a brand new 5 mile underground steam distribution system. Provide onsite safety for direct subcontractor workforce, control and direction of all field and construction management activities.Work with Manager to ensure timely regulatory compliance and reporting;Monitor and report on project progress;Work with staff to forecast and maintain maintenance, repair and replacement stock on assigned projectsOrder and coordinate inventory of material stock and equipment for all locationsCollaborate with engineers, subcontractors and other construction personnel to determine project needs;Ensure job site remains safe, clean and orderly;Resolve on-site issues and emergencies;

Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationshipsStrong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skillsFederal experience requiredNAVFAC preferredUSACE preferredProcore experienceSubmittals processAdditional Qualifications:5 years of experience on USACE or NAVFAC projects.USACE/NAVFAC QC/QA certification.30-Hour OSHA/EM385-1-1 CPR/First Aid certified.Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.Experience using RMS, Procore, and construction scheduling software.Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.Ability to review confidential U.S. security information.Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass a security clearance investigation.May require on-call response and travel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, DC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.07 - $62.50/hr.
