Simulation Engineer

We’re hiring a Simulation Engineer for a contract role supporting advanced automation and process engineering initiatives.

Seeking a hands-on engineer with experience in robotic simulation, throughput analysis, and virtual commissioning to help optimize automated manufacturing systems.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain simulations using ROBOGUIDE, Process Simulate, Emulate3D, etc.
• Validate cycle time, throughput, JPH, and capacity
• Identify bottlenecks and improve system flow
• Support virtual commissioning with PLC/HMI/robot controls teams
• Develop workcell documentation, robot data, payloads, videos, and reports
• Participate in design reviews, builds, and customer/project meetings

What We Need

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Strong experience with robotic/system simulation software
• Background in manufacturing automation / robotics
• Understanding of PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and safety systems
• Knowledge of ANSI/RIA / ISO robotic safety standards preferred

Bonus Skills

• Automotive manufacturing experience
• AMR / autonomous mobile robot simulation
• Throughput modeling (Plant Simulation, Arena, AutoMod)
