Overview
Intrepid Solutions has open a SIGINT Analyst position supporting our US Army TENCAP client to help enable the Army to rapidly exploit and influence national capabilities and architectures in Alexandria, VA.
Responsibilities
The SIGINT Analyst shall:
- Provide assessments and evaluations on performance and feasibility of existing and proposed Terrestrial, Aerial, and Space-based SIGINT components of architectures, including identification of performance, cost, and schedule risk, and prepare recommendations for consideration.
- Participate in forums with external organizations concerning employment, acquisition, and development of SIGINT collection, processing exploitation, and dissemination systems.
- Recommend and evaluate SIGINT policy, architecture, requirements, and system development decisions for client staff.
- Provide SIGINT expertise on the operations of SIGINT systems and tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Participate in SIGINT portions of training.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- This position anticipates standard work hours, Monday-Friday.
TRAVEL:
- Limited or minimal travel expected.
Qualifications
CLEARANCE:
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline; OR Associate's degree in an engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline + 4 years of work experience; OR 6 years of work experience.
- Master's degree in an engineering, engineering science, physical science, or mathematical science discipline preferred.
CERTIFICATION(S):
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience as a US Army Signals Acquisition / Exploitation Analyst (35S) E-6+ or another US military branch equivalent desired, performing the following tasks:
- Conducting and supervising foreign signals acquisition, exploitation, and resource management during search, collection, analysis, and dissemination to enable Communications Intelligence (COMINT), Electronic Intelligence (ELINT), and Foreign Instrumentation Signals (FISINT) production cycles
- Operating signals acquisition and exploitation equipment
- Preparing logs and technical reports
- Searches radio frequency (RF) transmission pathways to identify, collect, locate, and process target analog and digital signals
- Performing basic signals analysis to determine signal parameters for identification and processing
- Operating communication equipment for dissemination and coordination
- Assisting in the establishment of operational sites
- Maintaining mission-related databases in support of signals acquisition and exploitation operations
- Performing intermediate level signals and protocols
- Performing analysis of advanced or unknown signals and protocols
- Allocating acquisition and exploitation resources to support mission requirements
- Coordinating with other data collection and processing activities.
- 7+ years of experience as a SIGINT Analyst in the Intelligence Community (IC) or DOD, OR a minimum of 7 years of experience providing subject matter expertise to DoD SIGINT programs / projects.
- Experience on the operation of National and Tactical SIGINT systems and associated tactics, techniques, and procedures recommended.

Pay Range: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
