Shop Supervisor
Shift/Hours:Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate:$70k Annual plus bonus
Location:Rosenberg, TX

We are looking for a Highly Qualified Shop Supervisor to lead our client'sRosenberg production facility, ensuring their team meets rigorous standards while maintaining a safe, efficient, and positive work environment. As the Shop Supervisor, you aren’t just a "manager"—you are the engine of our daily operations. You will oversee the end-to-end production process, manage a skilled team of technicians, and bridge the gap between upper management’s goals and the shop floor’s reality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Management: Schedule and oversee daily workflows to ensure all orders are completed on time and to exact specifications.
- Quality Control: Enforce strict adherence to ISO standards and internal QC protocols; we don't ship "good enough," we ship "perfect."
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and mentor shop personnel. You’ll be responsible for performance reviews, conflict resolution, and fostering a culture of accountability.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a "Safety First" environment, ensuring all OSHA regulations and company safety policies are strictly followed.
- Inventory & Maintenance: Monitor raw material levels and oversee the preventative maintenance of shop machinery to minimize downtime.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and implement Lean manufacturing principles to increase throughput without sacrificing quality.
Qualifications & Requirements- Experience: Minimum 5–7 years in a manufacturing or shop environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/leadership role. Experience in the cabling or electrical industry is a major plus.
- Technical Savvy: Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and wiring schematics.
- Leadership Style: A "lead-from-the-front" mentality. You should be comfortable getting your hands dirty when necessary while maintaining the professional distance required to manage effectively.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred given our Rosenberg location.
- Problem-Solving: The ability to think on your feet when a machine goes down or a deadline shifts.
