This role combines hands-on forklift operation with shipping and inventory responsibilities in a manufacturing environment. You will load and unload trucks and containers, manage shipping through major carriers, and help maintain accurate inventory across the facility. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical, fast-paced work, takes safety seriously, and is comfortable operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
Responsibilities
You will join a smaller company with a family-like atmosphere, where safety is a core value and a point of pride. The organization offers clear pathways for growth, including structured pay increases tied to mastering multiple jobs and opportunities for promotion across a network of 22 manufacturing facilities in North America. Team members enjoy a low-turnover environment, monthly employee recognition programs and lunches, and paid breaks during each shift. Upon hire, you receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), long-term and short-term disability, and vacation. The company also provides thoughtful perks such as popsicles and water stations, especially on hotter days, to help keep you comfortable and supported at work.
Work Environment
You will work in a smaller manufacturing facility with about 30 team members across both shifts and a close-knit night shift team of approximately five people. The environment is laid back yet safety-focused, with a strong emphasis on proper equipment use and safe work practices. The facility is non-climate controlled and can get hot in the summer, but it is well-ventilated to help maintain a manageable temperature, and refreshments such as water stations and popsicles are available, particularly on warmer days. The role is physically active, involves regular forklift operation and material handling, and takes place in a typical industrial setting with standard warehouse and manufacturing equipment.
