Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Join Pride Health as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk at Royal Oak, MI! This is a 3 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.

Role: Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Location: Royal Oak, MI 48073

Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Highlights: $17-18/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory & Receiving

• Receive incoming materials and inspect shipments for accuracy and condition
• Verify items against vendor documentation and date stamp products for proper tracking
• Report discrepancies or damaged materials to the receiving team
• Identify and report short-dated materials (less than 30 days shelf life)

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Store materials in designated warehouse locations
• Rotate inventory based on receipt date and expiration date to ensure proper stock usage
• Assist with warehouse cycle counting and inventory control processes

Distribution & Shipping

• Stage and deliver supplies from the warehouse to laboratory departments
• Prepare and package materials for outbound shipments
• Ensure accurate routing of products into and out of the facility

Compliance & Safety

• Follow all applicable company policies including Materials Management, Safety, OSHA, and compliance guidelines
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience: Minimum 6 months of materials management or warehouse experience

Note: Local candidates within 30 miles are eligible.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
