Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk - $18/hr

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerks to join our dynamic team within a manufacturing company. This entry-level position offers training and is ideal for individuals with an experince in manufacturing or warehouse logistics, though it is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track inventory efficiently.
• Oversee the shipping and receiving area to ensure seamless operations.
• Perform various warehouse worker duties to support the team.
• Maintain cleanliness in the area, including sweeping when necessary.
• Package products for shipment, ensuring all items are secure and labeled correctly.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in inventory management and control.
• Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
• kitting and logistics processes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office for data entry and record-keeping.
• Preferred experience as a warehouse worker or in similar roles.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• A forklift is advantageous, though not mandatory. Training and certification will be provided.

Work Environment

Work in a vibrant production environment and warehouse setting, operating Monday through Friday, 6am to 2:30pm. Occasionally, you may be required to work on Saturdays based on business demands. Dress code and equipment will be provided to ensure safety and efficiency in your role.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newton, KS.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Newton,KS.
