Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk
Job Description

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk supports daily warehouse operations with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and efficiency. This role manages wine capsule inventory, consolidates and stages product for shipment, verifies shipping documentation, and assists with a variety of general warehouse and administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate boxes of wine capsules and prepare pallets for shipment in an organized and secure manner.
  • Stack, shrink-wrap, and stage outgoing product for pickup and delivery.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and assist with full inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Re-tape and re-mark warehouse lines as needed to support organization and safety standards.
  • Check shipping numbers, labels, and related documentation for accuracy before orders leave the facility.
  • Support general warehouse duties, including material handling and inventory control activities.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including checking in incoming materials and preparing outgoing orders.
  • Enter orders accurately into the system and support order processing activities such as picking and kitting.
  • Provide basic customer and sales support related to order status, inventory availability, and logistics.
  • Participate in logistics coordination to help ensure timely and accurate shipment of products.
Essential Skills
  • 2+ years of previous warehouse or shipping and receiving experience preferred.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining a steady and reliable work pace.
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate counting, labeling, and documentation.
  • Ability to lift, stack, and move materials safely throughout the warehouse.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with inventory control processes such as cycle counting and full inventory audits.
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures and documentation.
  • Ability to support order entry, picking, and kitting activities.
  • Comfort working in a logistics-focused environment with ongoing shipping deadlines.
  • Capability to provide basic administrative support related to shipping, receiving, and inventory.

Work Environment

This role is based in a warehouse environment focused on shipping, receiving, and inventory control for wine capsules and related materials. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., offering regular daytime hours. The work involves standing, lifting, stacking, and moving materials throughout the facility. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes or boots and pants (no shorts) to support safety and compliance with warehouse standards.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
