Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Foreman to lead our commercial HVAC installation projects. You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal duct work for HVAC and ventilation systems. Your expertise will ensure the proper fit, alignment, and sealing of ductwork, contributing to efficient and effective ventilation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal duct work for HVAC and ventilation systems from various heights.
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Install hangers, supports, and insulation as required.
• Ensure proper fit, alignment, and sealing of ductwork.
• Perform layout work and make field modifications when necessary.
• Work independently or with a crew.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures on job sites.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area.

Essential Skills

• Experience with duct work installation and sheet metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Strong understanding of construction and ventilation systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial duct and sheet metal work.
• EPA certification is a plus but not required.

Work Environment

Work in a construction environment that may vary between hot and cold temperatures depending on the season. Standard work hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Hours may adjust based on job requirements and project schedules.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boyertown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $45.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Boyertown,PA.
