Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Opportunity to take on a role responsible for analysis and testing activities on medium to large size projects. The role demonstrates advanced knowledge and ability tied to requirement elicitation and testing on the ServiceNow platform. The role is responsible for execution of all aspects of project delivery from the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of requirements to the creation and execution of test cases to ensure requirements are met.

What will you do?

• Manage the ServiceNow application functionality built by developer(s) and system administrator(s) through Quality Assurance (QA), and lead stakeholders through user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Lead and maintain the ServiceNow Automated Testing Framework (ATF) suite and expand where possible to reduce manual testing
• Develop, maintain, and execute quality test plans, and test cases for various testing activities (functional, integration, system, regression, and performance testing)
• Manage and lead QA and UAT during platform upgrades and maintenance activities through manual and automated testing
• Elicits requirements through different forums, ensuring the right questions are asked to produce essential requirement information to help align business needs with a technical solution on the ServiceNow platform
• Drive process improvements and recommend options and technical solutions for future process design/changes that increase efficiencies on the ServiceNow platform while considering impact and integrity of the platform
• Creates functional specifications and supporting user story documentation that includes UI/screen shots, data-mapping, business rules, error handling logic, process flow diagrams and API technical details
• Leverage the agile methodology to work off prioritized story backlogs and forecasts completion dates to manage stakeholder expectations

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Relevant college, university, or post-graduate degree in Computer Science or Business Analysis
• Minimum 5 years ServiceNow Platform experience as a BSA or QA with deep knowledge of core and add-on ServiceNow products including ITSM, ITOM, SPM, GRC/IRM and Performance Analytics
• Minimum 2 years' experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF) within the ServiceNow Platform
• Experience with APIs and integrations in technology projects
• Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban)

Nice-to-have

• ServiceNow System Administrator Certification
• ITIL Certification
• Experience leading QA testing via automation

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $80,000- $135,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
