Service Advisor
Location: Hybrid; based in Westfield, NJ
Compensation: $100,000 to $110,000 base salary plus bonus opportunity | Full-Time | W2 with benefits
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Service Advisor to join an established and growing wealth management team in a role designed for someone who wants to deepen their planning and client relationship experience today, while building toward an advisor-track future over time. This is a client-facing position where you will work closely with a senior advisor, gain meaningful exposure to high-quality client work, and play an active role in financial planning, investment implementation, and relationship management. What You’ll Do:
- Partner closely with a senior advisor to prepare and deliver comprehensive financial plans
- Participate in client meetings and play an active role in follow-up, planning discussions, and ongoing relationship support
- Serve as a responsive point of contact for clients and help deliver a high-touch service experience
- Implement investment recommendations and support account-related transactions
- Analyze client data to identify planning opportunities and next-step recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation across CRM and financial planning systems
- Support client retention, relationship deepening, and overall client satisfaction
- Learn the firm’s planning philosophy, technology stack, and service model while continuing to grow your advisory skill set
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in a Service Advisor, Associate Advisor, or similar client-facing wealth management role
- Active Series 65 or Series 66 license
- Strong foundation in financial planning, investments, and client relationship management
- Experience working in an RIA environment preferred
- Someone who is proactive, polished, and motivated to grow over time into increased client responsibility
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Clear communicator who works well as part of a collaborative team
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
- CFP designation or progress toward CFP preferred; experience with Fidelity or Schwab platforms is a plus
