Responsibilities -
The Senior Vice President of Growth Strategy will lead the organization’s efforts to drive new business, grow market share, and ensure seamless patient transitions across all service lines and preferred partners. This leadership role balances business development (hunting) with customer service (farming) by designing the structure, processes, and accountability systems needed for growth.
- Cultivate and maintain external partnerships to include, but not limited to senior housing, skilled nursing, physician group practices, hospital systems, physician specialty groups, accountable care organizations (ACOs), independent physician associations and Medicare Advantage plans (standard and special need plans).
- Must have a strong working knowledge of the referral and partnership sources, to develop high-value strategies and tactical plans to meet the needs of referral partnerships.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy across all service lines, aligning CareConnect’s unique value proposition with downstream services and preferred providers.
- Supervise the marketing team to ensure all messaging supports the growth strategy and tactical plans.
- Establish clear growth targets and performance metrics (e.g., new accounts, share gain, quality mix improvement) and ensure team accountability for results.
- Identify and target high-value accounts (e.g., ACOs, IPAs, and large health systems) and secure true strategic partnerships that drive volume and value.
- Manage complex sales cycles from prospect identification to contract and partnership execution.
- Ensure a data-driven approach by tracking market trends, referral patterns, and growth metrics utilizing strategies based on stakeholders and the target audience to ensure information accuracy and delivery to drive strategy.
- Build and enforce the workflows and processes needed to convert referrals into high-quality admissions across all lines of business.
- Oversee the business components of 3rd-party contracting including but, not limited to: alternative payment models, value-based purchasing, Medicare Advantage capitative contracting with legal assistance from in-house council.
- Oversee compliance in business development and marketing activities including Stark, Anti-Kick Back, 3rd-party contracts as well as other state and federal compliance requirements.

Qualifications -
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Network Development, or relevant field of study.
- At least 5+ years in senior business development or sales leadership roles.
- Experience in healthcare or post-acute care, preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing large, complex accounts (e.g., ACOs, IPAs, health systems) and forming strategic partnerships.
- Experience developing and scaling growth strategies, including both hunting (new business development) and farming (relationship management) functions.
- Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, including marketing and account management.
